Mission Statement

The mission of our guild is to:

We do this by bringing talented and creative quilt designers as speakers and to teach their special skills in workshops; by providing access to a large library of quilting and quilt-related books, magazines, and videos; by putting people together who share a passion for quilting in a warm and open environment at our monthly meetings and other scheduled events; and by hosting challenges, charity quilting bees, quiltshows and many other events and activities which provide opportunities for members to expand their knowledge and skills.

Guild History

The York Heritage Quilters Guild was formed in 1979 with about ten members. In just over twenty years we've grown to over 400 members. Memberships are available - complete this application form and mail to Fran Auty, Membership chair (see form for details). Please contact the guild by emailing info@yhqg.org
