Fiber artist Katie Pasquini Masopust is an internationally acclaimed quilter and teacher of contemporary quilt design. She has changed her style over the years, starting with traditional works, then creating mandalas, followed by dimensional quilts. She enjoys landscapes, and feels that she has returned full circle to her beginning as a painter; now she paints with fabric. Katie's work is regularly featured in many quilting magazines (Quilter's Newsletter, American Quilter, Fiber Arts) and she has authored numerous books. Katie has won many awards throughout her career, including Best of Show at the Houston Quilt Festival and the Pacific International Quilt Show. Her quilt "Rio Hondo" was chosen as one of the 100 best American quilts of the 20th Century.
Katie is a popular teacher who presents her contemporary quilting theories
and techniques in an easy but energetic manner: each class is fun as well
as educational. Don't miss this opportunity to learn from one of today's leading
quilt artists!
