Judy Morningstar
Goodlands, Manitoba.
Judy Morningstar is a quilt artist and storyteller whose
innovative and imaginative quilts have been exhibited in Canada and internationally.
She is a frequent award winner in CQA's National Juried Show. Judy was named
CQA's Teacher of the Year in 2006 (see The Canadian Quilter, Autumn 2006 issue).
She is known as a skillful, energetic teacher who inspires and challenges
her students, and who enables them to create their own designs. She brings
a delightful sense of humour to both her teaching and her quilts. In her workshops,
Judy creates a positive and supportive atmosphere for exploration and learning
which draws from her students their creative best.
