Silent Auction
Funds raised from the Silent Auction will be donated to our Show's charity:
Assaulted Women's Helpline.
Hand-made one-of-a-kind quilts will be auctioned at the Celebration of Quilts X show consistent with the traditions of a silent auction. These small quilts have been made and donated by the members of the York Heritage Quilter's Guild.
View these exquisite little gems and bid often. Bidding starts at $20 with increments of $5 minimum. Bidding closes at 3pm on Sunday November 9th. Successful bidders are responsible for paying for all auction items via cash or cheque only. You may bid in person, or, if you will not be on location at 3pm on Sunday, you may place a reserve bid with the silent auction volunteers at any time through-out the weekend. The winning bid will be whichever is higher - the 'sheet' bid or the reserve bid. Please see the Silent Auction Rules for details.
Cafe
The Cafe will be serving a variety of delicious hot and cold lunches and snacks, including sushi and miso soup! Also, cold drinks, coffee and black and green tea will be available. After viewing the quilts, and shopping at the Merchants Mall and Quilt Shop, take a load off and relax over a cuppa. The cafe will be open on Friday from 10am to 7pm; Saturday from 10am to 5pm and Sunday from 10am to 3pm. Please click here to see the menu provided by the JCCC - great food, great prices!
Gift Shop
The YHQG members have filled the shop with handmade, one of a kind items from quilts to crafts. Come on in and get a head start on Christmas. Big and small ticket items - something for everyone!
