York Heritage Quilters Guild
For each quilt show, the members of YHQG present a stunning variety of quilts in all shapes and sizes, worked in an astonishing array of techniques - from traditional quilt to art quilt, as well as quilted garments and dolls. With nearly 425 members in the guild, that's a lot of variety!! Our next show, A Celebration of Quilts XI, will be held in November 2011. Please join us then as we celebrate our craft, our love of fabric and embellishments, and the exquisite talent of our members.

A Celebration of Quilts X was a Huge Success!

A Celebration of Quilts X was a great show! It was well attended; the quilts, garments, and dolls were first-class; the vendors were busy; the Gift Shop was abuzz with activity all weekend long; and the Silent Auction generated huge excitement, especially on Sunday afternoon nearing the close of bidding!
Viewers' Choice Awards
The viewers' choice selections were revealed at the November meeting, and Charlene Hearst, quilt show chair, presented gifts to the winners, and the Canadian Quilters Association Rosette to Linda Hoiko - congratulations Linda!
