Workshops are open to (in order of priority):

Wait Lists: If you are interested in a workshop, even if it is full, please have your name added to the waitlist. As registration takes place many weeks before the workshops, unforeseen events sometimes cause participants to cancel. Last year nearly everyone waitlisted eventually got into the workshop they had signed up for.

Payment must accompany registration. When registering by phone, your place is reserved once payment is received. Please note that once registered, there are usually no refunds. Refunds will only be given if the Workshop Chair is notified at least ten days prior to the workshop in question and a substitute attendee is found (using a workshop's waitlist first). If you must cancel, please call Tiina Corbit or Joanne Fleming as soon as possible.

Location: All workshops will be held at The Latvian Cultural Centre, 4 Credit Union Drive at the southwest corner of Eglinton Ave. East and Credit Union Drive, two lights east of the Don Valley Parkway. Unless stated otherwise.

Times: Workshops begin promptly at 9:30 a.m., finishing around 3:30 p.m. Please arrive in plenty of time to set-up your workstation prior to starting.

Supplies: Supply lists will be distributed at the time of registration, and will be specific to each workshop offered. You will need to bring general sewing supplies. If a machine is required, please ensure that it is in good working order and that you bring a power cord, extension cord and spare needles. Irons are supplied by the guild.

Food: Please bring your own lunch and beverage. A kettle and refrigerator are available on site. Coffee and tea will be provided.

Please remember to wear your nametag at all workshops.
