Sampler of some of the designs available to do in the Threadpainting class

Would you like to know how to add some special touches to your quilts using threads? You'll also learn bobbin drawing, how to make lacy, see through centers for flowers, confetti covered pieces, and how to use couching to enhance your designs. And you'll learn how to create depth with thread without having to buy one of those expensive embroidery machines to do it. Carol teaches you to make thread covered pieces like the fish or corals in her Coral Reef quilt by using ONLY a free motion zigzag stitch. You will create your own threadpainted flower, leaf or fish by using this free motion zigzag method. It's easy and anyone who can lower their feed dogs can do it. Every design uses ONLY the zigzag stitch. It's like coloring with crayons, except you use threads, and you'll learn to make solid areas and to blend the colors to make realistic looking flower.
