Got a joke to tell? A yarn to spin? Tell your tale in cloth! Folk art is the simple, spontaneous cutting and stitching of shapes to make a statement or observation. Come with your idea of what you want to say, and learn how to stitch your thoughts onto fabric. You will learn how to stitch houses, buildings, and people with machine appliqué and free motion embroidery techniques. Easy methods of appliquéing words to quilts will be shown.
